Meet Amy!

Hello and welcome! I am a psychologist who offers support to children, teens, and adults in Calgary and online throughout Alberta. I provide a supportive space for children and teens to talk and learn new ways to cope. I also conduct a variety of assessments to help you gain a greater understanding of how you or your child learns while giving you strategies to enhance school success.

I earned my Master of Education in School and Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and am trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I have also completed additional education at the Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute, where I obtained a certificate in play therapy, and hold a Post-Master's Certificate in Trauma-Informed Clinical Practice from New York University.

Prior to entering private practice, I worked for several years as a psychologist at the Calgary Board of Education. I have also worked with families receiving assistance through Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and supported adults through the Never Too Late Program at Catholic Family Services.

I have experience in assessment and counselling for ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disorders, giftedness, behavioural difficulties, trauma, and emotional concerns.

As a mom myself, I understand the unique challenges and joys that come with parenting, and I bring this empathy and experience into my practice.

I look forward to meeting you!

As an advocate for adaptive technologies, I’m passionate about leveraging tools that best meet the needs of clients within learning environments, fostering their success and independence.
